Datlo emerged from an insight by geographer Mateus Felini: market data, although available, was fragmented and hard to access, making strategic decisions for large companies difficult. Faced with this challenge, he and Raisa Spagnol sought to democratize data analysis by creating a solution based on geomarketing.

This date marked the beginning of our growth journey: we acquired our first client. Shortly after, Datlo was invited by the EVOA accelerator, further boosting our expansion. Since then, we’ve gained the trust of major companies like Sicoob, Unicesumar, and Cargill Food, solidifying our presence in the market.

Datlo was selected for the latest batch of the American accelerator Y Combinator, which invested $125,000 in the business. This was one of the key factors that led to the company’s international expansion, further increasing possibilities and expanding its client base.

Datlo replaced its old shades of blue and rounded shapes with the bold contrast of black and white, adopting daring forms and a more modern, unique look, while maintaining the essence of the union between data and geolocation. But the rebranding went beyond aesthetics — it strengthened internal culture and established a new market positioning.

With flexible customizations, more options for data cross-referencing, and significantly enhanced analytical power compared to the previous version, version 2.0 was more than a technical leap — it represented a successfully overcome commercial and strategic challenge, opening new opportunities and driving the company’s continuous growth, including internationally.

During this period, we reached 140 clients and a team of 60 employees. To celebrate this milestone, we held the first ‘Datlo-Summit’ — a strategic event that brought together leaders, experts, and professionals from the industry, promoting our brand, discussing trends, sharing insights, and encouraging networking.
